1

Complete Your Profile

Takes about 5 minutes

Your profile is what riders see when deciding whether to book with you. Make it count!

Write Your Bio

Tell riders about yourself, your experience, and why you love guiding. Minimum 50 characters.

Example: "I've been riding the Moab trails for 15 years and know every rock, ledge, and secret viewpoint. Whether you're a first-timer looking to experience Hell's Revenge safely or an experienced rider wanting to find the hidden gems, I'll make sure you have an unforgettable adventure."

Set Your Rates

You control your pricing. Set rates for half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) rides.

Typical Half-Day Rate
$100 - $200
Typical Full-Day Rate
$200 - $400

Tip: Start competitive and raise rates as you build reviews.

Add Vehicle & Tour Details

Let riders know what you ride and what to expect.

  • Your vehicle (e.g., "2023 Polaris RZR Pro XP")
  • Max vehicles you can guide at once
  • Meeting location for rides
  • What riders should bring
2

Connect Stripe for Payments

Takes about 5-10 minutes

Powered by Stripe

We use Stripe, the same payment processor used by Amazon, Google, and Shopify. Your banking information is never shared with us.

What You'll Need

  • Government-issued ID (driver's license or passport)
  • Bank account details for deposits
  • Last 4 digits of your SSN (for tax purposes)

Your Security

Stripe uses bank-level encryption. We never see or store your banking details. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification.

When You Get Paid

After a ride is completed, funds are deposited to your bank account within 2-3 business days. You can track all payouts in your dashboard.

3

Add Your Trails

Select the trails you know and can guide

Riders search by trail and destination. The more trails you add, the more visible you become to potential clients.

Browse Existing Trails

We have a database of popular trails across the country. Simply browse and add the ones you know.

  • Pre-loaded trail info
  • One-click to add
  • Already verified

Create Custom Trails

Know a trail that's not in our system? Add it yourself! Custom trails are reviewed but you can start guiding on them immediately.

  • Add unique local trails
  • Use immediately
  • Help grow the platform

Pro Tip

Add at least 2-3 trails to give riders options. Guides with multiple trails get 3x more booking requests on average.

4

Publish & Go Live

Make your profile visible to riders

Ready to Launch?

Once you've completed your profile, connected Stripe, and added at least one trail, you can publish your profile and start receiving booking requests!

Before you publish, make sure:

Bio is complete (50+ characters)
Half-day and full-day rates set
Stripe account connected
At least 1 trail added

Managing Booking Requests

When a rider wants to book with you, here's what happens:

1. You Receive a Request

You'll get an email and see it in your dashboard. The request includes the rider's name, preferred date, group size, experience level, and a message.

2. Chat with the Rider

Use the built-in messaging to ask questions, discuss the ride, and make sure it's a good fit. No need to share personal contact info.

3. Accept or Decline

Accept requests that work for you. If it doesn't fit your schedule or comfort level, decline with a reason. You have 72 hours to respond.

4. Rider Pays

Once you accept, the rider has 24 hours to pay. Payment is held securely until after the ride is completed.

5. Complete the Ride

Meet your rider, have an amazing adventure, and you get paid! Funds are deposited to your bank within 2-3 business days.

Tips for Success

Respond Quickly

Guides who respond within a few hours get 2x more bookings. Enable email notifications so you don't miss requests.

Great Profile Photo

Profiles with photos get 5x more views. Show yourself on the trail, with your vehicle, or at a scenic overlook.

Earn Great Reviews

Go above and beyond on your rides. Great reviews build your reputation and lead to more bookings at higher rates.

Keep Availability Updated

Block dates when you're busy to avoid declining requests. Declining too many requests can hurt your visibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the whole setup take?

Most guides complete their profile in 10-15 minutes. Stripe verification is instant for most people, but occasionally takes 1-2 business days if additional verification is needed.

Can I edit my profile after publishing?

Yes! You can update your bio, rates, trails, and availability anytime. Changes take effect immediately.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

Life happens! You can cancel a booking from your dashboard. The rider will receive a full refund. However, frequent cancellations may affect your visibility on the platform.

How do waivers work?

Riders are required to sign a digital liability waiver before their ride is confirmed. You can view signed waivers in your booking details. No paper needed!

What happens if a rider doesn't show up?

If a rider no-shows, you still get paid. Payment was already collected when they booked. Contact us if you have any issues.

Can I unpublish my profile temporarily?

Yes! You can toggle your profile between published and draft mode anytime. When in draft mode, you won't receive new booking requests but existing bookings are unaffected.
